Özet

The Sustainable Development Goals are defined as “a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity” by the United Nations. Libraries are essential social stakeholders that can contribute to the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. As centers of information, libraries can play a critical role in the dissemination of research and knowledge. As key resources, libraries are always at the forefront of education and awareness creation. With all these strengths and well-accepted features, libraries can be involved in sustainable development at different levels depending on the countries.

In this poster, a survey will be applied to academic libraries in five countries namely Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greece, North Macedonia and Türkiye. The survey results will be analyzed comparatively and the findings will be visualized to show how academic libraries resemble or differ from each other in these five countries.
