Abstract

BACKGROUND: Young and old patients with myocardial infarction (MI) have different risk factor profiles, clinical presentations and prognoses. Although a relationship between arterial stiffness and coronary artery disease has been established, information regarding arterial stiffness in patients with premature MI is scarce.
