Until recent decades the association of renal cell carcinoma and other malignancies was detected only at autopsy series. In the recent years widespread use of ultrasonography and computerized tomography has increased the diagnosis probability of clinicaly silent new primary malignancies in renal carcinoma patients. These second malignancies may occur synchronously or subsequently. However, there were few reports on multiple primary malignancies including renal cell carcinoma (RCC). A case of synchoronous renal and colon adenocarcinoma is presented in this paper.
