Abstract

Objective: The prevalence of (beta-thalassemia in Sanhurfa province, Turkey is reported to be 2.6%-3.7%, whereas nation-wide the frequency of beta-thalassemia is 2%. This study aimed to identify the most frequent beta-thalassemia mutations in Sanhurfa province.
