Mallet finger deformity is the loss of active extension on distal interphalangeal joint and possessing hyperextension deformity on PIP joint. Although there are several treatment alternatives for mallet finger deformity, optimal treatment is unclear. We also discuss the results of subsequent physiotherapy program.
